2019 GPLC Plenary Speaker Dr. Emily Stanley University of Wisconsin - Madison
Dr. Stanley is a professor at the University of Wisconsin - Madison Center for Limnology and the Department of Integrative Biology. She is also the Principal Investigator of the North Temperate Lakes Long Term Ecological Research Program. Her research has pushed disciplinary boundaries in limnology, biogeochemistry, and hydrology and her work has spanned from streams to lakes to landscapes. In addition to being a highly cited researcher in the field of limnology, Dr. Stanley is also a fellow of the Society for Freshwater Sciences and the Ecological Society of America. In 2018, she was also the recipient of the G.E. Hutchinson Award from the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography.
